Why we built this

Forming 106 teams used to mean 60 hours of cross-checking spreadsheets by hand. Now it's four hours of validations. I didn't build Advantage Sports to sell software - I built it because I run a league's operations and needed it myself.

The founding league used to run on the usual stack: a generic registration platform, a payment ledger, roster spreadsheets, a mass-email tool, and an operator reconciling all of it by hand. Forming teams meant a 60-hour weekend of cross-checking requests against spreadsheets.

Today the whole season runs on Advantage Sports. Families register and pay online, waitlists and freeze rules enforce themselves, automated emails answer the status questions parents used to send, and formation weekend became an afternoon of validations.

Can I bring my data from last season?

Yes. We import your existing registrations, rosters, and payment history during onboarding, so you start the season with your history intact.

What happens to my data if I leave?

It's yours. Export every registration, payment, and roster to CSV at any time - no lock-in, no per-record fees, no holding your season hostage.

How are payments handled?

Your league keeps collecting payments the way it already does - cash, check, or money order - and Advantage Sports records every dollar against a specific registration, with running balances, refunds, and adjustments tracked in one ledger.

Do families need to download an app?

No. Everything runs in the browser on any phone - registration, payment, and live status - so parents never hit an app store.

When does game-day tooling ship?

Scheduling, scores, and standings are in active development, targeted for the Fall 2026 season. Everything else - the full season up to game day - runs today.
